It’s been a while since I have created any new papers etc. I was busy taking care of my beloved pets.
My two oldest animals, both a cat and a dog started declining in health fairly quickly starting in June. Pumpkin, my sassy, orange cat was full of attitude and love. We took her in as a kitten after my sister found her near a highway back in 2011. She was 13 years old when she passed away on July 10th.
Peanut, a chihuahua, was the sweetest, most loving dog I ever had. He was 16 years old, just three months shy of turning 17. His health started declining at a very rapid pace immediately after Pumpkin passed. Just 10 days after losing Pumpkin, I had to make the unfortunate decision to humanely euthanize him. It was one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make. Selfishly, my mind wanted to do whatever I could to keep him. I knew in my heart it was his time and I couldn’t extend his suffering for my own selfish reasons.
July was an extremely sad month to say the least. I’m thankful for the time I spent with my animals and even more thankful I was able to be with them and care for them during their final days.
Pet Digital Scrapbook Kit
I wanted to work on something small and quick so I could get back into designing new papers and kits. I created a small pet scrapbook kit while I get back into the swing of things. Of course, this can be purchased in my Etsy shop if it’s something you’re interested in.
Free Pet Digital Scrapbook Layout
I know I usually give out free digital papers, this time, I wanted to offer something different. I have created a couple free layouts that can be used for scrapbooking cats or dogs. They are simple to use. Just download/save the image and add your favorite pet photos for a quick and easy pet scrapbook page. After adding photos, the page can be printed and added to your memory book. If you are unsure how or what program to use for your layout, you can find a free program such as Canva. Start by creating a new project, select the desired size of page. The page was created as a 12X12. You can resize as a 10X10, 8X8, etc. You will need to upload the layout to Canva. You can then upload your photo and add it to the layout. You can resize your photo, add text, etc.
You can save these layouts by clicking the picture and choosing to save picture.
I hope you enjoy using these layouts!
